I’m DJ, a Licensed and Certified Legal Document Preparer and Notary Public based in Las Vegas, Nevada and a proud Filipino immigrant committed to helping others navigate legal paperwork with care, clarity, and respect. 

 

I know how stressful legal paperwork can feel because I’ve been there myself. When I moved from the Philippines to the U.S., I handled every step of my own immigration process — gathering documents, double-checking requirements, and making sure every page was just right. I spent nearly three weeks meticulously preparing everything to avoid rejection or requests for additional evidence. Today, I can review an adjustment of status packet for a spousal visa in approximately 45 minutes with precision and confidence. 

 

That experience taught me three things: details matter, staying up to date with every change in immigration and legal requirements is just as important, and no one should have to go through the process alone.

After receiving my work authorization, I was determined to pursue a role in the immigration and legal field. My own experience had shown me how much I valued the research, precision, and strict compliance required when working with government agencies and legal authorities.I joined an immigration company, started as a document preparer and worked my way up to becoming a Licensed Certified Legal Document Preparer and eventually, a supervisor. I also had the opportunity to train and share my knowledge of the U.S. immigration process with attorneys from Mexico and India, while continuing to prepare paperwork for clients from all around the world.

 

Along the way, I committed to continuous learning — keeping pace with new policies, legal updates, and best practices — so I could better support the people who relied on me. Over time, I realized I wanted to focus more on working directly with individuals and families, leading me to focus on my own practice, Christianson Consultancy LLC.

 

Now, I get to combine my personal experience as an immigrant with my professional training to help others navigate their own paperwork, minus the confusion and overwhelm.
